Powell Dance Academy is proud to offer dance themed birthday parties for your little dancing star! Our excellent staff of instructors is highly qualified and holds various certifications for teaching students ages 2 and up, creating a safe and family-friendly environment in which to learn. Instructors are carefully chosen to ensure the perfect fit for your party!
Birthday Parties are scheduled for 2 hour blocks. Once all the youngsters arrive, staff members will take the first hour to organize the group and teach a dance class created to suit the birthday child! The second half of the party is yours to enjoy—open presents, blow out candles & eat cake—don’t worry, we’ll clean it all up!
We provide
VIP party area (building is closed to the public), tables & chairs, table ware, cups, napkins, teaching staff, & clean-up.
You provide
All food, beverages, & decorations.

Favorite Friend Class
Does your youngster have a favorite TV or movie character? We can create a class just for you! Examples of our class themes are Dora the Explorer, Mickey Mouse & Friends, and Sesame Street. Favorite Friends Classes are great for the youngest birthday babies. The dancing helps strengthen the basic motor skills toddlers are beginning to explore; a less structured class designed to promote learning and creativity using fun props, toys, and age-appropriate songs and games. Children under 3 years old require adult participation. Recommended for ages 2 and up.
Enchanted Class
Give your birthday girl the royal treatment! Children learn basic ballet moves, with a wand and tiara, set to enchanted music. You can personalize your Enchanted Party by selecting a specific character like Barbie, Cinderella, Angelina Ballerina, and more! Recommended for ages 3 & up.
Cheerleader Class
A great class for grade schoolers and t’weens just getting interested in cheerleading. Party-goers learn cheers, chants, stunts, and a special half-time dance. Pom poms and tumbling mat are provided. Does your birthday girl have a favorite team? We can provide team colors and team specific cheers! Recommended for ages 5 & up.
Rock Star Class
Party girls rock out! A high-energy class includes fun props, cool make-up, and current pop-star music! Choose from favorite performers including Hannah Montana & High School Musical. Recommended for ages 6 & up.
Hip-Hop Class
A great class for boys & girls, our Hip-Hop class teaches the newest and coolest steps to current pop and hip-hop music. All movement and music is 100% age-appropriate and family-friendly. Recommended for ages 7 & up. Class can also be adapted for older teenage dancers.
